Nice premises and helpful service

Nice location about 15-20 min drive from Syracuse town. Had some issue with a waiter serving the wrong items, but the hotel was kind enough to give us that for free, plus a nice bottle of wine that we had selected. Big pool area for both our hotel (the 4 star one, that Hotels.com have not updated yet) and the 5 star one. Great breakfast as well. Just miss the porridge which is more non existent all over Italy.

Excelente hotel ao sul de Siracusa!

Excelente hotel, com piscina, um spa completo, café da manhã delicioso e funcionários muito simpáticos. Fica um pouco longe da praia e da cidade, portanto, é preciso ter carro ou ir com as bicicletas disponíveis no hotel.

Resort stay AND/OR jumping off point

Excellent. Perfect jumping off point to enjoy historic Siricusa and especially Ortygia. Free parking and excellent free breakfast. 12 min to a car park that's reasonable and walking distance to everything. Better than staying in town where it's crowded and parking complicated. Helpful staff and lovely property if you want to relax for a bit.

The swimming pool is absolutely fantastic There is also a tennis court in good condition, but you have to pay extra. The restaurant is also very good and has live entertainment at dinner time.

Das Hotel liegt außerhalb der Stadt. Ohne Auto kann man nichts erreichen. Der Shuttle Bus muß 6 Stunden vorher reserviert werden. Man sollte sich bei der Buchung bewusst sein, daß es einen "alten" und einen neuen Gebäudekomplex gibt. Leider ist das nicht wählbar. Frühstück sehr abwechslungsreich.

Oasis of Perfection

Could not fault the hotel. Can only praise enormously.They gave us a free upgrade! Homemade biscuits delivered to our room . Helped enormously with our plans. Shuttle into Siracuse was such a bonus. Staff exceptionally pleasant & helpful. Room so pristine & 2 bathrooms- no marital distress!. Breakfast exhibited huge variety . pool inviting.

An unexpected treat near Syracusa

This 5 Star Spa Hotel was magnificent in every way. The actual spa facilities were all world class, including amazing options for children. Breakfast was exceptional. The bartenders knew what they were doing. The only downside was location if spending time in Ortigia is a priority. The hotel offers a free shuttle or will arrange taxis...less than 20 minutes away. The staff was warm, professional and quite helpful.

Schönes großes Hotel in Ruhelage

Eigentlich hatten wir Unterkunft in Syrakus gesucht, aber für unsere Gruppe von 8 Reisenden mit 5 Zimmern nichts Passendes gefunden. Trotz der Entfernung zur Stadt würde ich es empfehlen. Die großzügige, gepflegte Anlage, die großen Zimmer mit entsprechenden Sanitärräumen, die nächtliche Ruhe, das überdurchschnittliche Frühstück und last but not least das flotte WLAN haben für uns alle einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt ermöglicht.

nice. One night no air con and quite a dark room but staff very good and moved room. Excellent free shuttle to ortigia. Sauna should be free to guests not additional high charge of €40+ per session . Nice clean hotel, good breakfast

Relaxing stay

A couple of pleasant days checking out Ortygia and the old town... pool time at the resort was relaxing and was welcome after 5 weeks travelling in Europe... beautiful resort ... surrounding neighbourhood is agricultural and somewhat rundown... the resort especially the newer side is quite up scale

Great Hotel, expensive meals

This is a wonderful hotel. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast (included) was the very best choice possible and all really fresh and continually topped-up. The free shuttle to a local beach and into Syracuse/Ortiga is a brilliant service. The swimming pools and sun beds are fantastic. You do not have to eat in the restaurant, but there is no where else walkable at all nearby. We found the food to be expensive for what it was - 15 Euro for just 6 small pieces of ravioli for example ! Sides all have to be paid for separately too. Don't let that put you off staying at this gem of a hotel, but do be prepared.
