"It’s an old building, close to Sylvan Lake so called beach, but it’s normal in Alberta to have such obsolete from last century hotels. Go to Canmore, Banff that direction, it’s more like Switzerland…. Too expensive for what it is, Charged at the hotel some 3,10$ tourist tax - ridiculous !!!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Raccoon Lodge Motel. The location was excellent, being across the street from the lake and within walking distance to many great eateries. The operators were very kind and flexible with our needs of travelling with our cats. They were very responsive to our questions prior to our arrival as well. The motel is dated and could use some upgrading but the room was spacious and clean. Overall, we would stay there again."
