Hotel Metro - an excellent all round choice!

This was the third time I have stayed at Hotel Metro, and I would most certainly start there again. The staff are all friendly, helpful and courteous - willingly catering for all needs. The rooms are clean, spacious and well maintained. A good choice of breakfast options are offered, which is included in the nightly rate. Thank you Hotel Metro staff. I look forward to staying at the hotel again in the future and would most certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a good standard of hotel without overinflated prices.

Noisy, noisy hotel in the heart of Sylhet

Basic hotel which is very noisy both inside and out. Helpful staff though and a reasonable breakfast. Room is basic, but clean and water hot. Don't think it represents good value for money, but Sylhet has few cheap options.

A very good experience

The hotel has all the facilities I need - good Wifi, hot water, comfortable bed. My room was spacious and comfortable. They happily changed my room when I requested a room with a better view with no argument. The hotel is in a good location close to the river and the local amenities (such as they are). All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was good quality and a good price. There were many locals eating in the restaurant which is always a good sign. I would be very happy to stay at this hotel if I return to Sylhet.
