The hotel was beautiful. Staff very friendly and accommodating to our needs. We stayed for concert in Slane castle, little to far out for this as taxi prices very expensive (€156). I would most definitely come back for a relaxing stay.

Room was lovely, spacious and well designed. Dining had to be in bar, because there was a function. The noise, including loud music, was torturous, so we ate as quickly as possible to escape to our room. Never again!

The whole experience was magical, all the staff were so friendly and attentive made me feel like royalty. The room and surrounding amenities at the spa which were right next to the rooms were fantastic. On my next visits which hopefully will be soon, a visit to the Treatment Rooms will be a must. The entrance hall took my breath away as I entered looking for the reception totally wasn't what I expected from outside. Very peaceful surroundings and if you like golf your laughing 😂

We fly in/out of Dublin several times a year. We like this property because although it is only about 10-15 mins from the airport, it feels like you are really in the country. So there is not that cramped and hassled feeling with so many of the airport hotels near DUB - tight parking, shuttle buses, airport noise etc. Roganstown Country House Hotel feels a bit like a respite. That being said, they could invest a little in the interior of the hotel. While our room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom had a signs of mold, and there were no shampoo/conditioner/soap etc. except for the one soap dispenser in the shower. It is so nice that so many hotels are now installing the shampoo/conditioner dispensers in the showers and it would be great to see that here too. Fish and chips in the bar/restaurant was quite good; burger was ok. We'll stay there again most likely just for the space and feeling of being in the country.

Roganstown is a special place. We stayed only one night , but would have loved to stay there longer. The pub is great fun. Restaurant is fantastic. The golf course, which drew us there , is excellent. Host to some Irish opens and many Irish tournament rounds. Played in 3 1/2 hours. Can’t wait to go back next year! Chris Sykes. Stayed July 18/26.

The young girl who welcomed us upon check in was so friendly and helpful! Posive experience in the bar. But the bathroom in our room was fair. Outdated. Climbing over the tub to get a shower was challenging!!! Shower head was filled with black mold- disgusting!!

Wouldn't stay again - lovely peaceful surroundings but no air con or fans available and very creaky beds. No fridge/mini bar. Fixed shower head in a v tiny cubicle. German travel ticket left in the room from previous traveller so cleaning not the best. Quite old fashioned tho only 15 minute drive to the airport.
