「Hot breakfast was good, comfy beds, staff was nice.」

「This property closed its restaurant/bar and did not offer free breakfast as advertised because of "low occupancy." I was not informed and seriously doubt there was a rate reduction of any kind.」

「There was no shower nozzle,there was no tub plug to hold the water to take a bath due to no shower nozzle...cigarette burn in the bedspread...he said his computer had no record of an invisible person because my name was not printed in the email confirmation...he was not in office at 11:59 pm to chg rooms..the next morning I ask for a refund for I had to take a spit bath using the washcloths.and he refused the refund」

「There was roaches and fleas. The cleaning was horrible there was hair on the toilet with dry pee. Hair in the shower and what looked like mold in the fridge and cabinets. I was shocked and very disappointed. The staff was rude and unprofessional when I tried to bring it to their attention. Never again will I be back.」

「Peaceful and tranquil. Like traveling back in time when hotels weren’t high rise buildings. The trails and views are amazing. Comfy beds, clean. We stayed in Sassafras. Only thing missing in the room was maybe a dresser to put some folded clothes in. 」

「Did have to request our room to be cleaned after we left hotel in afternoon, but everything else was great. 」

「My first day at the Moxy I went down to tell the front desk that my toilet knob was broke and I couldn't flush with it. They said they would fix it right away. They never came to fix it and so I sent down again on Saturday. They promised they would fix it ASAP. They still never came to my room so for Friday-Sunday, I had to stick my hand in the toilet tank to flush. Not ideal at all.」

「Apparently this was an Extended Stay America location before being acquired by Choice a month or so ago. Looks like very little was done to upgrade the property however. The walls were dirty, toilet fill ran on/off all night, damaged formica in the kitchen and bath. Not sure if there was anything in the kitchen drawer as it would not open. AC worked and the bed was okay. Vent-a-Hood hasn't been cleaned in years. Light and fan didn't work. The entry door was so quirky that the staff had to...

「We got the 2 bedroom suite which was perfect for a family traveling. The continental breakfast is not much, but available. Location is good, just a short drive from some really great food in the area. 」
