「Essentially it is a very even cross between a hotel and guesthouse. I will basically stay here every time I come to Bucaramanga. The rooms were clean, spaces were organized, and it was everything I could have wanted between a hotel and hostel. One thing to note is that the shower in the room I had was tiny, so I used the one meant for rooms without one, simply because I wanted more space. If you were looking for a long term stay, this would be my recommendation over an Airbnb 100%.」

「Our room was not cleaned, and the towels were not replaced. In addition, the safety box was not working, the hair dryer was broken, and there were no shower caps or facial tissues provided. Furthermore, the restaurant staff was not friendly at all on Saturday breakfast. Overall, the hotel’s standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and amenities are very poor and far below what we expected. It was a very disappointing experience, I will never stay in the Chicamocha Hotel never again.」
