I recently booked accommodations at your hotel for a group of employees attending training in Summersville. Upon arrival, after packing my belongings onto a cart, I discovered I was assigned a room on the fourth floor, but unfortunately, the elevator was out of service. Due to timing constraints related to the training schedule, I had no choice but to repack my belongings into my car and unload again after the training concluded.
At checkout, I encountered further inconvenience. With my cart fully packed once again, we waited approximately 20 minutes for the elevator. Eventually, I had to call the front desk, and the staff reset the elevator. However, given the repeated malfunctions, using the elevator felt unsafe and unsettling.
Additionally, two of my employees had to relocate rooms on the second night due to scheduled carpet cleaning.
While the staff members were courteous, the ongoing elevator issues significantly impacted our experience. Due to these challenges, I will not be booking at this location again in the foreseeable future.
