A unique hotel in a beautiful setting. Rooms are simple and functional. Views are great. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. They are very proud of their hotel and its unique design. Dinner and breakfast were excellent.
A place with real character, which isn't for every
The place is run by enthusiasts, motivated by the architectural significance of the 60s hydro-electric project. If that rings your bell, go for it. If not, think twice. The food is good and honest, I enjoyed the local trout for dinner and hand smoked salmon for breakfast (you can tell it's the real deal because there's the odd bone in, a machine wouldn't miss that). Apart from the food, view, nature, history, architecture and some pool access I didn't use, there isn't much else. No disco, no 24 hr room service, no turn down service, no chocolate in your pillow, none of that useless onboard magazine fluff. Apart from the blazing fast WiFi perhaps. Do your research properly, if you like this stuff it's a five, if you don't it's your own mistake.
To døgn. Fantastisk vær, grandios natur, storartet smaksopplevelser og vennlig, hjelpsom og kunnskapsrik betjening gjorde oppholdet uforglemmelig.

The hotel provides a beautiful view, and the hotel staff were lovely- helpful but not intrusive. When we stayed there we were the only guests we saw, but we still had a full breakfast buffet with many delicious local meats and cheeses. On the not-so-great-side, the hotel looks like it hasn't changed since the 70s. To be honest it's a little ugly, and it's also in the middle of nowhere.
Unmatched design and comfort in the area much less anywhere. Liveable Brutalist design but with warm staff and good food all set in a magical landscape makes for this hotel to be a true gem.
Rolig og stille hotell, avsidesliggende. Hyggelig betjening!:)
