"Looks like it’s going through upgrades. Many areas look newer, but breakfast area appeared to still be a work in progress. They had the normal items, but didn’t appear to be in a permanent setup. Also didn’t find the workout center"

"***Buyer Beware--- The rules clearly state THE POOL IS FOR GUESTS ONLY. Which i thought was a bit strange. That being said. I really enjoyed my time we had a poolside room the only thing I would say is that access to the hot tub was really weird. You have to leave the pool area outside of a gate and then go inside of another gate to get to the hot tub so that was a little bit weird and it made it hard for parents with kids to enjoy Hot Tub Time because the kiddy pool area is so far away from the hot tub and there's a railing in the way."

"The hotel was clean including my room, the front reception area, the breakfast area, and the bathroom. The bed was comfortable but the small pillows were like Little Rock’s. The elevator could use a facelift but it got me to my floor ok. The ice machine on my floor was not working so that was disappointing. The tv channels are screwed up. The lady who checked me in was very polite as was the lady on duty as I checked out. Air conditioning was cold, coffee was great. I didn’t have the breakfast as I’ve traveled a lot and am sick of the hotel breakfasts. All in all it was a good place to stay. One of the couple lower priced hotels in that area of the Twin Cities. Yes, I’ll stay there again."

"The property is clean if a little worn. Our tv didn’t work and Amanda was awesome about helping and getting a new one. The AC cools but didn’t do much to remove the humidity."

"Our 2nd stay at Americas Best Value Inn in Big Lake! Best staff/owner ever! We travel weekly with our son’s band and have stayed in hundreds of locations all over the Midwest. This property is so well staffed and maintained beautifully not to mention the kind hospitality and welcome from the owner who went above and beyond to make our family comfortable during our stay. I’m hoping that the band will book more shows in the area so we can return soon‼️ Highly recommend this property for travelers!"
