「Lovely setting, you become part of history as the building and the square has so much history. Breakfast was freshly cooked and you had many choices if you did not fancy a full English. Ramsgate is a piece of France in the UK with a lovely harbour and fine restaurants to be found. Ramsgate has a lot history and lovely buildings that date back many hundreds of years. Great bus service to plan days in neighbouring villages and towns. 」

「Another nice stay, although only one night. Staff really friendly and helpful, especially the young man who checked us in and lady who took our order at breakfast. Room clean and comfortable with lovely view of pier and beach. Hospitality tray with tea, coffee, chocolate and biscuits. Breakfast really nice, plenty of choice. It was a really hot night and air conditioning wasn’t working, however a small tower fan had been put in room, but didn’t really cool it down! Other than that good...

「Loved this no frills historic hotel. No fuss - just texted me door code to the room, which was all in perfect order. The hotel is just opposite Deal's beautiful beach - if you get a sea view room you'll catch the sunrise. Great work by the hotel owners - shows you can run an historic hotel in a great location but still make it affordable to all visitors」

「Rose Cottage is in an excellent location and truly felt like a ‘home from home’. It was immaculately clean throughout and the owner had clearly thought of everything. The welcome pack was the best I have ever received - and I go away on mini breaks a lot! My only regret is not having longer there to make the most out of all the facilities and little extras provided as we were there for The Open so were out most of the time.
