The hotel was nice and eclectic, however the breakfast really wasn't that great and the place is a little bit dated. Do not try to eat dinner there. Beds are hard. Furniture is old, definitely a wonderful City to stay in. However, you better get there early everything closes at 8:00

The hotel is set in a nice location. Unfortunately our first floor room, as did many others, looked onto an internal roof area which was shabby and dirty. General decor was tired and dated. Food was ok. Could not fault the staff who were friendly and helpful. Room prices did not justify state of the hotel.

Very clean room and a very comfy bed too. Beautiful place. Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy walking distance into the village. We had our evening meal there, which was really excellent! We would definitely stay again, if in the area and would recommend it to others.

This was such a fun place. We were visiting Inverness and wanted to stay in a quieter place outside of town. This turned out to be a hidden gem. The town is so quaint and quiet, we absolutely loved it! The property is an old manner that is beautiful and must have been a beauty in its hay day. It had a few quirks that come with old properties but you have to know you’ll have some of those things if you’re are going to stay in a place like this. The staff was so fun and friendly. We would stay here again in a heart beat.

Very small room, tired ( expected for the price) but clean. The surprise was that we were charged for having an assistance dog with us. Receptionist said everyone with an assistance dog has always paid / this doesn’t make it correct, but just like all the others before me, I paid, as we had a ferry to catch .However it is illegal to charge for an assistance dog.

Room in the attic area- a mix of lift and many different stairs. Very basic 1960's décor and furniture in poor condition. Breakfast- mass produced for coach parties. Scrambled eggs included lumps which were grey/green colour, which we were told was normal as it had been standing for a long time and nothing was wrong with it. We has booked dinner on arrival at the restaurant, which ended up as the leftovers from the coach party- extremely small portions, cold and bland-we were offered a free drink as compensation ,which i did not accept and refused to pay for the meals. Staff argued with me about this. Don't eat here!

Staff are excellent and could not be more helpful. The hotel and room were very clean. Beds are comfortable. We had fish and chips which was ok, but when we saw someone getting the beef we wish we had chosen that. Would definitely recommend. George and Graeme were the standouts but everyone were lovely.
