Me and my wife had two great nights here. Continental Breakfast buffet was served and it was realy good. They have a indoor pool, tennis court and pool table in the property. We stayed in a room with mountain view and the room had Foxtel wich was a bonus. Wifi connection is very fast and works every where in the propery. The staff is really fiendly. Definetly reccomend for a relaxing getaway.

On arrival, the location, amenities and beauty of the property, had us already discussing the possibility of a future stay with family and a gift voucher for an upcoming birthday present. However, the restaurant/food was very disappointing and as there are no other options for meals nearby, this changed our mind about an extended stay or gift. Our room had quite a bad smell on arrival, so we were glad we had windows that could be left open during our stay. Such a lovely property, with a little attention to detail (eg. tips on the pool cues, tablecloths on the laminated tables in dining room, chemical room in the pool-house locked!) and an overhaul in the kitchen, it would be perfect.

Spontaneous weekend away for my husband and I. We spent more than we budgeted for but didnt really mind because of how lovely our stay was. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Loved the historic elements. Any negatives? Just that getting into the bath/shower was slightly difficult due to the HUGE step in. And the bathroom in general could do with new fixtures etc.

A great escape that's not too far from the city

We had a great stay up at flowerdale estate. The whole experience is a credit to the owners who are amazingly accomodating and hospitable. The grounds are beautiful, surrounded by rolling hills. We spent the day riding around the local area. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing and peaceful break
