Clean, roomy, easily located, quiet location, everything needed for a leave things at home stay, close to another 4 small towns, bed comfortable, good kitchen, bsthroom and adequate seating. Outside deck looking across green fields was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely quiet cabin with pleasant country outlook. Good ramp entry. Every facility for cooking one would want. Bakery nearby. Animals & bird aviary to visit near bakery Excellent value and I fully recommend.

Had everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Very clean. Unique, "Rural" finishes and a beautiful deck to sit and enjoy a coffee or meal. Was very impressed with cabin. Had stayed in a variety of accommodation during a trip to the Flinders and this was the clear standout.

The room was fine: clean with comfortable bed. The Bakery associated with the cottage was closed so food was available. So accomodation was okay but not what is advertised on booking sites.

Great friendly hosts. Beds are very comfortable and lots of room. Would certainly stay again if travelling in the area. Currently experiencing the worse drought in the area which is sad, I hope rain comes soon.

Cottages are large and very well appointed and clean, loved staying here. The only negative was the beds and pillows were extremely hard. Overall though had an excellent stay here

Very comfortable cabins complete with cooking facilities,and very clean and spacious bathroom and living area .Could not fault the accommodation . There is also a wonderful bakery on the premises where you can get a delicious breakfast- including egg benedict and home made bread and pastries . If you stay for lunch there are local wines to try

Our stay was excellent. Best nights sleep in years.The beds were so the comfortabl ! The caretaker Jean went over and above to make us welcome and comfortable. Lovely and clean, great character.We were so delighted we have rebooked on our way home.Delightful, stay with delightful staff and food. .

Overnight stay in Stone Hut

The cottage was adequate for 1 night but the front door was difficult to open and close and door to the bathroom was difficult to open and close. Wifi didn't work. Bed and pillows comfortable though!

This property has a great ambience and rural outlook. It is ideal for motorbikes, with safe parking outside the cabins, and access to well-formed dirt and flowing bitumen roads. The bakery serves fabulous food - breakfast and lunch, and there are towns nearby where pubs, a brewery, groceries and other dining options are available. We'll be back.

We would certainly stay again as the staff are friendly and obliging, the cabins are comfortable, the attached bakery is excellent. We did mention to the proprietor that there is an unpleasant odour in the bathroom and he said the toilet was chemical and he would look into it.

HIGHLY recommended! The cabins are comfortable and neat. All bedding, towels and toiletries are provided (although consider taking your own pillow if you have particular needs). The bakery next door is just lovely, although it closes at 3pm. Bacon and eggs for breakfast was delicious! The birds are lovely and friendly! Charlie the cockatoo says "hello Charlie" and then puts his head down for you to give him scratches. Ernie the galah wiggles around so you can pat the soft feathers on his back. The property is a quick, easy drive from Laura where there is a pub, grocery store, etc. It's a lovely part of the country, and your visit will be a relaxing getaway (you may or may not be able to connect to the internet via your mobile data). Don't forget the aeroguard for the flies!

The location was handy for us. The facilities are a bit outdated, such as no WiFi or electric blanket, though maybe adequate for an overnight stay. It had a couple of small maintenance issues such as broken lightbulb, and a bathroom sink plug that didn't work. Bring your receipt as we had to "prove" we had paid on arrival to an unbelieving woman in the shop, and I would give the cooked breakfast a miss- under cooked bacon and tomato and hard boiled poached eggs, even though she specifically asked if we wanted the eggs runny or not. The older gentleman was very nice but the older women need to brush up on their polite hospitality communication skills. There was a lovely younger girl who served me in the shop in the afternoon though.
