"The front desk service on arrival was EXCELLENT!! The room was EXCELLENT! Love the choice of bedding, very clean feeling, nice bathroom (although some softer lighting options would be a plus). We were in Galt to attend 2 Celebrations of Life one on Saturday evening, one at 11am on Sunday. .
It was really really disappointing to go downstairs for breakfast on Sunday at 9am (still a half hour to go in their serving time) to find most items not stocked. We were not the only ones who encountered this. It was busy and there was only one staff member working the breakfast area. Egg tray was empty & reported to the staff. Still, we waited and waited and waited and finally gave up on the eggs.. What was left of the potatoes were cold and hard, bacon pretty much gone, no yogurt in fridge, Bagels almost gone, etc.... everyone on our arrival to breakfast plus everyone who flowed in after found slim pickings to choose from. I told the front desk person the kitchen could use some help but she didn't seem to care. I felt bad for La Quinta because our experience up to the point of breakfast could not have been more positive. But we were starving and didn't know when our next meal was going to be so it was a big let down to encounter such a poorly managed part of our stay. Breakfast part of choosing La Quinta. It really put a damper on our experience. Hopefully this was just a one off that day, maybe someone called in sick? Otherwise, I would highly recommend this La Quinta. "
