My stay at Scandic Sondra Kajen was absolutely perfect! The location is very close to the ferry— safe, and with very easy access to public transportation. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to start the day right. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Stockholm!

We had a great family stay at the Scandic! Even though it seemed far from downtown Stockholm, we managed to go to and fro with public transportation and make the most out of the city. Staff in reception is very friendly and helpful, and breakfast super varied and abundant.

It is a fantastic place if you travel with kids. Its a little bit away of the city but you can take the bus our the metro very easy. We had a great time and the staff was very kind.

A nice hotel but with a few drawbacks. Rooms pleasant and food in the restaurant very good. Restaurant staff very friendly. Excellent shower. Outside the hotel is a building site at the moment which makes access difficult. The hotel has no parking and guests are directed to a nearby car park which incurs an additional fee payable by app. The spa is also additional fee on top of the rooms which was disappointing. One of our party arrived in his room to find it hasn’t been cleaned and still had dirty towels and bedding. No apology was offered.

One bus away from Gamla stan and the general downtown area and near a grocery store. Walkable from the Sija Line Cruise terminal was convenient. Everything was as described and comfortable. Breakfast was good and well kept.

The hotel and staff were great all round. The location is undergoing major construction work all around which lowers the ambience of the hotel. This is outwith the hotels control. It is approx. 10mins walk from Finland ferry terminal and a pleasant 20 minute walk to the cruise terminal- I did this walk.

Big renovation around making it difficult to reach from Silja harbour and bad signs to guide... I did not know it beforehand would have booked downtown hotel as booked mainly because thought easy walk with my small son. Breakfast very good. No fridge in the room very bad:) clean&big room

I highly recommend this hotel! The rooms are large, the hotel very clean, and the service desk was excellent with their advice and help. They allowed us to store our luggage on the last day for free. It is important to note, that not all Scandinavian hotels allow you to regulate your room temperature, but this is available at this hotel! Very important should the weather be hot and muggy. The breakfast is excellent and included both a hot and cold buffet which had eggs (both scrambled and boiled), meat balls, bacon, beans, Swedish pancakes (with jam and whipped cream), and a huge assortment of cold cuts, cheeses, pate, breads, oatmeal, coffee/tea and juices + more. Some have criticized this hotel because it is not directly downtown and that there is a short walk to the metro station. However, they have not noticed that there is a bus stop one building over that takes you directly downtown. Since there were 3 of us, it was cheaper to take an uber downtown instead of paying 3 bus tickets and we were at all our downtown destinations within about 10-12 min. There is some construction outside the front door as it appears that a pier is currently being built, but this is not a hindrance. There is also a full grocery store in the next building - not a mere corner store, but full-sized groceries having anything you would ever want to buy, including a fantastic hot/cold buffet that you can pick up and bring back to the hotel. I recommend this hotel very highly!
