Good hostel

Good hostel near to shops bars and restaurants and about 20 minutes walk to old town Gamla Stan. Buffet breakfast was great and kitchen was clean & tidy. Single room was small with no window but bed was comfortable and had a small fridge. Wi-Fi was intermittent and had to sit in reception to get a good signal. On the whole I enjoyed my stay and it was good value for money.

Great price, great service

A very nice hostel close to the city center, metro and services. Breakfast was good but rather compact. The room was clean, beds were comfortable for the price and the staff was nice and helpful.

Great stay in Stockholm

We had a great stay overall. The room and bathroom was spacious, bed was larger than other hotels and bathroom as well, we also had a mini fridge in our room. You have access to a kitchen during your stay, kitchen is well equipped and has lots of storage for food. Breakfast was included as well which was a great bonus for us. The hotel is close to the metro and buses, supermarkets, bars, etc. Also the hotel is a short walk from Stockholm old town. Definitely recommend the hostel.

Easy check in and check out. Room was very comfy and had a nice mini fridge and desk fan. No shampoo though which caught me off guard. Would stay again for sure.

Cheap and disappointing hostel

Cheap and quite worn hostel in Stockholm. The breakfast and checkin were good and easy. The room and bathrooms were very worn, unclean and poorly maintained. The bathroom tiles were dirty and the shower curtains were too small. One of the beds was actually broken and had been poorly repaired with tape so it was lopsided.

Good, and great price

Always a nice time at Mosebacke Hostel. The room has all you need - I would’ve perhaps hoped for a slightly more detailed cleaning, the floor was a little dirty and there were some stains and splashes around the furniture. Also the bed headboard did smell funky. Otherwise - tv in the room is a massive plus; felt safe and staff was friendly and professional. Everything worked in the room and sheets were fresh. Many thanks.

Brilliant!

Great stay at Mosebacke hostel! The room was pretty small, with some tiny wear and tear and I had to change rooms after first night due to some problems with the shower room - but everything was taken care of really nicely and overall, my stay was super pleasant! The staff were nice and breakfast was filling - and the location is perfect close to two tunnelbana stations. Thank you so much, will surely return!

This is the second time that I have stayed here and the breakfast which is included in the room rate sets you up for the day. My room was a little bit bigger than the one I stayed in last year. I again paid extra for my own bathroom. There is a supermarket just across the road and you also have the use of the communal kitchen. It is in a great location and walkable to the busy shopping area which is only two streets away. If you want to get down to Gamla Stan (Old Town) just turn left when you come out of the hotel and go straight up the steps which will also give you a great view of the harbour and continue down which took only 15 minutes and you are there. This time I booked myself on a two hour boat trip in to the Archipelago which is a guided tour and I booked it with Lovely Cruises which also own the Red Bus Sightseeing double decker. The price was £28 which I thought was a reasonable price. I would stay here again the next time I get to visit Stockholm.

This is the first time that I have stayed here and everything was great. I liked the free daily breakfast and my room was lovely. I paid extra to have my own bathroom. There is plenty of dining options near to the hotel and a supermarket just across the road which was handy seen as I had my own fridge in my room and also use of the communal kitchen. I found out that the hop off hop on sightseeing bus runs nearby so I paid for a 72 hour one which included the boat. I went to the Vasa Museum, the Abba Museum and Stockholm City Hall which went passed on the sightseeing bus. I would stay here again the next time I visit Stockholm.

Weekend stay in quadruple room

It's incredible, but i came back to the same place 16 years later. Maybe it was named differently, but it still has a good vibe and it's not onlybused by young students, but also elderly people who stay there for short weekend trips. Nothing super spectacular, but comfortable, cozy and very close to main street and tram station that can take you everywhere in Stockholm. Breakfast is basic but enough to last until lunch. Friendly staff. It's not for everyone because of shared bathroom and toilet, but worked fine for our group of friends. Would surely recommend and would like to come back sooner than in 15 years 😅

Room was clean. Beds were comfy. Free breakfast was nice and the coffee machine was good. Communal areas are nice. Noisy at night, thin walls. Only two toilets. A group of girls kept locking the communal bathroom sp on several occasions we couldn’t use the showers, toilets or sinks in the night and morning. There is only one shared bathroom for all the rooms so them locking the door whilst brushing their teeth meant no one could shower or use the seperate toilet cubicles
