Definitely a very basic place to stay. Must say it’s convenient to old town and the Viking boat terminal and a lot of transportation. Staff was good but is extremely basic so you have to be ready for that.

We had a family room which was bigger than anticipated. Very comfortable beds. Great bathroom. Quiet. AC was not very effective but we managed. Hotel was great- brilliant to have communal space to sit, eat food, microwave, coffee machine, lounge area and fridge etc. Such an excellent location. Would definitely stay here again and have already recommended.

Excellent price for an incredibly well located hotel. Do know that you are likely getting no windows but the room was more spacious than expected and the bathroom was quite nice. Very self-serve but it was a great option for us in an very expensive city.

I really enjoyed staying here. It’s in Södermalm, which I’m my friend advised me to stay in, which is a really cool neighborhood/island. So, location is great. It’s also just off the train, so very convenient and easy to get to other neighborhoods. Lots of dining options and great shopping. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the rooms don’t have windows - which I actually didn’t totally mind because the rooms are great and contemporary and spacious. I was on the lower floor and it sounded like my room was below the entrance, so I heard a lot of footsteps and rolling suitcases most of the time I was in the room. Minor detail, and it really didn’t take away from the stay which overall was wonderful. The staff was super helpful and the amenities are great. I would absolutely stay here again.

I stayed at Citybox Stockholm and was pleasantly surprised. I was a bit skeptical at first because the room had no windows, but the experience was fantastic: the room was comfortable, well ventilated, and very practical. The whole process was also fully automated and very easy. In fact, I never saw a single staff member, which I found funny and actually quite convenient. Overall, a very good option for staying in Stockholm.

Our stay at City Box Sweden was perfectly pleasant — nothing to complain about, but nothing that particularly stood out either. The hotel does exactly what it promises: clean, functional accommodation at a reasonable standard. The rooms were comfortable enough and the stay was hassle-free, which is really all you need sometimes. It’s a solid choice if you’re looking for somewhere straightforward to rest your head without any fuss. All in all, a decent mid-range option that gets the basics right. It may not be the most memorable stay, but we left with no complaints.

Generally consistent with other Citybox and we had a good time. Very satisfying experience. Environment is nice and love their kitchen facility and is really a plus. Only one suggestion is that maybe they should add a second microwave to reduce the waiting time when there are more people using. Also the lighting at the microwave area is too dark. It is not possible to see the microwave setting and I need to use my phone to light up to see how many min I set for.
