"I let the host know we’d be getting there late and she sent us all the info we needed to find the lodge and get into our room easily. The beautiful room was a welcome sight after a long drive and everything was clean and comfortable. The next morning we were able to see the wonderful view outside our window and went for a walk down by the river. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!"

I stayed at the Locomotive Inn in Laurel, MT on August 16, 2025, and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. We booked a standard room with two queen beds, and it was perfect for our needs.
The front desk staff was exceptional, especially considering we checked in around 11 pm. They were welcoming and efficient, which was greatly appreciated after a long day of travel.
The room itself was very clean and comfortable. The beds were soft yet incredibly supportive, and the pillows were just right — I honestly had the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a while.
When I first walked in, I did notice a slightly old smell, but it wasn’t strong or bothersome and quickly faded into the background.
Overall, I would absolutely recommend this hotel to others looking for a restful night in the Laurel area. Five stars!"
