Kitchenette is stocked pretty well but the coffee cups were put back in the cupboard extremely filthy and dish soap is not provided. Still pretty good for the low price.

Affordable and pleasant accommodation for anyone staying in downtown Stettler.
Kitchinette was stocked with utensils, plates, cups, etc as well as extra small appliances (hot plate and toaster oven, as well as toaster, microwave and large fridge with freezer). Building was quiet and we had a good nights rest.
Room was dirty, sheets were stained. "Hotel" is in bad shape, falling apart. We could not stay in the room and had to go to a different town to stay because every other hotel was booked. This "hotel" is not suitable to have guests stay here in its condition. Looks like it should be condemned or needs to shut down untill it is suitable for guests.
Very clean and renovated room. Great price. Very kind owner. Only issue is having to go in the bar to get the key; but separate entrance to the hotel portion.
It is an old hotel which needs further renovation to be considered a usable property. The bath tub was cracked.

PROPERTY IS IN NEED OF MAYOR REPAIRS ROOMS WERE NICE BUT THE LLEAKY ROOF AND THE ASSOCIATE OF WET / DAMP ALONG WITH POORLY LIT HALLWAYS DOES NOT MAKE FOR GREAT CURB APPEAL. THE STAIRS TO THE ROOMS IS NOT USER FRIENDLY FOR THE OLDER CUSTOMERS.
An economical place to stay that is convenient to all the amenities that Stettler has to offer. The service is great and the room was very clean and comfortable.
I like the history of the towns I visit. The stettler hotel was a cornerstone of the community and has gone through a number of transformations over the years. The rooms have been fully modernized and are very clean. Kimberly even gave my family a little private classical piano concert on her grand piano!! Thanks for that awsome experience
Best wishes

Nothing to like. Hotel is very old and run down. Supposedly they are renovating but you cannot tell. No ac in the room which we had expected ...in the heat wave there was only a tiny window and old fan had to kerp the fan going or listen to the bar noise. The whole place smelled like frying old , except for the first room we were shown which smelled of sewage. We do t mind staying at older hotels if they are maintained at there is some thought given to maling it vintage and intetesting. There was a ball tournament on in town which is the only reason we booked here. I honestly would sleep in my car rather than book here again
Hotel was exactly as we expected. Obviously an older hotel but the room was clean and comfortable. Kimberly was very helpful and took the time to make sure we were happy with the room.
Convenient to downtown. However, the hotel reception is in a dark smelly dirty bar. Extremely impolite staff.

The entrance is hard to find. You have to go to pub then get the entrance key first. The washroom is locked and not able to open from both sides. After maintenance worker removed the door frame then finally let my boy out. The room tube heater is not warm enough; fridge made big noise and waked me up…
I'm sorry, I was hoping to be able to give a better review :-( but since you asked... I had specifically inquired as to if we would be bothered by the noise coming from the Bar...if so, we would simply go elsewhere. I was guaranteed that we would not hear anything because there is concrete between the floors. Unfortunately this is not the case...there may be concrete, but there is also plenty of noise that carries up to the rooms. We were unable to sleep until the music quit and the patrons had left. If you are staying in the suite, be sure not to close the bathroom door because you will be locked in. My hubby had to shove a knife under the door so that I could somehow jimmy the lock...it took a long time to get out. Thank-fully I was in there with my granddaughter because she would not have been able to get out by herself. And lastly the beds were not very good quality at all...they may have been new 2 years ago but they are very uncomfortable...reminded me of the beds you get in a camper or trailer. That along with the noisy fridge, lack of kitchen linens, etc.... we will not be booking there again.
Didn’t stay walked in then walked out smelled of sewer, filthy.

We were in a pinch and needed somewhere to stay.
The room was OK. You had to turn sideways to get into the bathroom...but it was clean! The bed was old and squeaked, no pillow cases...but again, clean. We didn't use the kitchen, seemed to be in working order. They had 2 fans in the room as there was no A/C. It was HOT. But in a pinch, for 8 hours, it was all that we needed.
Kimberly, the owner, was very warm and gracious when I telephoned her in advance with a question. When I arrived, she carried my bag since I have mobility issues. This hotel is in the old downtown section of Stettler, with the streets filled with little shops and eateries. You can always stay in a Ramada Inn, but at this hotel you experience a bit of the old and new, and I enjoyed it very much. Just to be aware, no AC or elevator (rooms on 2nd and 3rd floors). Fans are provided in the rooms but even with higher than norm temps, evenings in Alberta are comfortable by opening a window slightly. I would stay here again.
