Owner and staff were exceptional. They made us feel as if we were the only guests they had. Room was modern, very well equipped, clean and bed was very comfortable. The view is amazing, looking out over the Rhine river. Breakfast (included in rate) was delicious. There are few places during our travels we have stayed that we would return. This is one.

No elevator, but staff helped my wife carry her bags up 3 flights. Beautiful overlook of the river in our view double room and at supplied breakfast. Free car park is a short walk away.

An excellent room.

The suite overlooking the river was lovely. Newly renovated, spacious, including a small fridge. Breakfast was good and the hot food was cooked from a menu.
Large walk-in shower was in the bedroom. Base very slippery.

Great view of the Rhein, very walkable and easy to park. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was nice. Soap and shampoo outside of shower was the only odd part, as there was no shelf in the shower. Good breakfast. Would recommend.

Breathtaking river view

My husband and I had the most amazing stay in the river-view suite, we had an unforgettable breathtaking sunset view. Watching the sun set over the river, painting the sky with stunning colors, while sipping a tea was the highlight of our trip! The suite was elegant, comfortable, and perfectly designed for relaxation. A special thank you to Rebekka for her outstanding service—she was warm, attentive, and went the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect. A beautiful spot

What a beautiful spot! We were offered a welcome drink, which was certainly appreciated. Single room was small and basic, but later upgraded to a double room which was in very good condition. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning and there was a heat wave, so it was difficult to keep cool. The proprietress was very friendly and helpful with arranging taxis, etc.

The property does not have an elevator and the staff is not prepared to assist with luggage. Our room was on the 3rd floor. Not ideal for heavy baggage. The restaurant had a wonderful selection for dinner and the food was tasty. We opted for breakfast to be included and we were extremely pleased with the options and quality. Our female server on the first day was attentive and very sweet. The second day of service from a male server left us missing the sweet girl from the day before. Our view was of the Rhine River and it was breathtaking. Parking is about a block away. The hotel lobby representative said they ran out of FREE parking passes so we had to download the parking app and pay for a space. The hotel is just around the corner from the town square and directly in front of the waterfront of the Rhine. The ferry is a short walk from the hotel if you want to purchase a ticket to ride down the waterway.

This hotel was beautifully situated on the banks of the Rhine in Stein Am Rhein old town. A short distance from the cycle route, with secure bike storage available. Check in was fuss-free and we were welcomed with a complimentary drink which was nice and luggage taken to the room. The rooms are all accessed via stairs, there is no lift. Our room was modern, spacious and comfortable. A swiss-euro plug convertor was supplied, along with a fan, both of which were appreciated. No in-room hot drinks. There was a problem with the shower blocking but this was immediately and effectively fixed by extremely attentive staff. We ate dinner in the hotels outdoor restaurant and enjoyed excellent food with somewhat patchy service - like the sea it ebbed and flowed! Breakfast was included and served in a pleasant breakfast room, full range of the usual Euro breakfast. Coffee was excellent
