Easy access to Arches national Park, plus amenities like a kitchenette, laundry facilities, a hot tub and grill that make it easy and comfortable to spend some time and relax after a dusty hike. Only negative was room was kind of dark and the A/C loud but the rest of the positives more than made up for these small things.

Bad check in process.

The lady that checked us in was not kind. She did not welcome us. I had a question as to where our hotel was because our instructions said that we were to check in at The Steamboat Hotel. She looked at me as if I were stupid and said The the Lodge is right behind the building where I checked in. She was snippy as well, so, I was snippy back and said "well, I had no way of knowing that. My instructions did not tell me where my hotel was, just that I had a different hotel to check into. At that point she seemed to realized that she was not behaving politely and corrected her attitude. I did feel very uncomfortable and I think that she needs training on the fact that she is in the hospitality business. It is her job to make everyone that walks into that hotel feel welcome and that she is happy that we chose their hotel for our stay and answer any questions in the most polite way possible. No one should walk away feeling like I did. I would return to the hotel because I thought it was a good value for the price. Coffee was excellent and we appreciated the continental breakfast.

Clean & helpful

Room & bathroom were simple, but clean. I was babysitting my granddaughter so cleanliness was important to me. I would like to add that while I was trying to leave room with granddaughter, her items and my bags one of the staff very kindly helped me bring everything down to my car. This was much appreciated. Highly recommend the Steamboat Mountain Lodge

Check in was terrible, I booked the room for $89 and they said the total bill was $120, never gave me a receipt m. Next day breakfast as to start at 7 am nothing was ready no hot water snd out of coffee. We went to go back in our room and the door would not open. Thankfully we had all our stuff in the car prior to breakfast

The place was nice except for we didn't have any hot water. After talking with the front desk and maintenance it was decided that they would give us a new room. Once they found out that we booked through Expedia they told us that they could not change it, so we stayed in a room that had no hot water and then sink.

Loved everything about it!....... and at an affordable price! Only disappointment was the all carb breakfast. Yogurt was the one exception. We ate one and then left to go find somewhere to eat breakfast.

We had a room opposite the parking lot. It had a beautiful, quiet open space with trees and bushes and mountain view. There is a wonderful walking trail along the river. The lodge wood, stone fireplace, rustic décor, and beautiful mountain view of the Great Room is a cozy place to sit and read or to enjoy the breakfast. Quiet and safe a few miles from downtown.

We loved the lodge like interior. Our room was a good size, clean, basic amenities of coffee maker, fridge, microwave, and tv were all we needed. We were located on ground level conveniently next to the common area and ice machine. The breakfast offerings were good and we ate there both mornings. The beds were comfortable and we slept well not hearing any noise outside our room. The view outside our window was lovely.
