The overcharge way too much for the condition that this hotel is in. The entire thing is under construction. Asking full price while it’s being completely gutted is crazy

It was welcoming to pets however it was 75$ a night to bring a pet unless it’s a service animal. Also half the hotel is under construction
The room was very clean. The bathroom is very nice. The room is good and big, but they make some construction in the building and the air conditioning in the room. It’s not working otherwise it’s very very very nice hotel.

Our hotel room was nice and clean. We would stay here again.
I recently stayed at Golden Nugget Hotel in South Lake Tahoe, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. For the price of the room, I expected a much higher standard of quality and maintenance.
The HVAC thermostat was not functioning properly, making it difficult to regulate the room temperature and stay comfortable. Additionally, some of the cabinet doors were broken, which gave the room a worn-down and poorly maintained feel.
Overall, the condition of the room did not match the price point or expectations. With a few repairs and better upkeep, this property could be much improved, but as it stands, I wouldn’t consider it a good value.

Room was clean and nice, patio only had 1 chair with the table so both of us could not sit. All the staff we interacted with were very nice. Lots of construction going on during our stay. It was quite warm in the buildings.
Under construction at the moment. Vents were shooting out a good amount of dust from the construction. Made my allergies act up badly. Bathroom door didn’t close, it kept opening up( no handle it’s a sliding door without at lock), also no house keeping and bathroom wasn’t stocked up( only a half roll of tp was in there). Not a good experience overall.

It was fine but there is a massive renovation happening right now so a lot of the hotel was closed off and there’s really only one or two restaurants and the casino area is greatly reduced. We unfortunately stayed in one of the un-remodeled rooms, which I don’t recommend. It was clean enough but everything is dated and old compared to the new rooms. I’m sure it will all be nice once everything is renovated, it looks like what they have done and are doing is great. The location is ideal to walk around downtown which made it more enjoyable, but we didn’t spend much time at the hotel for the above reasons.

Checked in 2 hours early so I was charged the extra $40 - ok no problem. We get to our room and it was a mess. Maid service wasn’t done. Bed was messed up. Trash everywhere. Bathroom disgusting. Go back to the front desk to a rude associate telling me the fee couldn’t be returned because I was still early. But nothing for the inconvenience of a dirty room and having to go get a new room. Hotel elevator didn’t work properly. Had to use the UP button to go down. The table dealers were unfriendly and some had poor attitudes. One even screaming twice for a pit boss because another player hadn’t finished getting their gambling money out before sitting down. It was unnecessary.
They charged us extra after we showed up rooms rooms were not clean had to change to three rooms no food options at night staff unprofessional and rude long wait times for help under construction
My room is Sunset tower 557, next to room 559. The noise seems to be coming from the room next door due to poor sound insulation.
There is also a gap under the door, and air keeps coming through, creating wind noise at night. I had to put a towel at the bottom of the door to block it.
I tried to call the front desk around 10:15 pm to report these issues, but my call did not go through. I eventually had to walk down to the front desk in person.
When I spoke with the staff, I was told that calls would not go through when they were busy. I have to say this was quite surprising, as I’ve never experienced this at a hotel before.
