Loved the modern updates. My teen daughter especially loved the powered mirrors and USB bedside lamp. I loved that the room was equally luxurious as the Marriott without the same price tag. Don’t let the outside building design fool you, you’re in for a treat. It also appears that additional modernization is underway for the dining spaces. And if it’s anything like the rooms, it will be quality. I’m returning in a month for more Penn State functions and placed my reservations directly with the hotel.

Curb appeal is poor but rooms are great

A room was a pleasant surprise because it’s been newly updated and it was extremely clean and comfortable. The hotel in general is older and the lobby area could use an update so when we first got there, we were a little skeptical however, our room was great and I would definitely stay here again.

Room was very clean. Linens and towels appeared new. Temperature could be adjusted to our preference. A drawer was broken and the remote volume didn’t work. Convenient parking. I think it would help guests identify staff if you wore same color shirts, such as golf shirts. There were workers around such as housekeeping & maintenance & it would be good to identify them as such.

The tv was programmed to a certain volume and was unable to raise the volume. Fridge had water inside of it and was unplugged. The room was very clean and comfortable. Other than the two above mentioned items it was a comfortable stay.

This hotel is in an odd location, next to a truck stop so the ground aren't the prettiest. However, the interior of the hotel is being remodeled so the rooms are mostly newly furnished and clean. The fitness center wasn't open when we were there and there isn't a pool, but the breakfast is fine and the staff are friendly. If you're on a road trip and looking for a clean, affordable place to stay, this is it. Staff are very friendly and helpful too!

Good place to stay/stop by!

It was a place that just seemed to be starting off in this service. However, they were very clean & helpful. It was a quiet area. They did serve a continental breakfast & there are a few places to eat very close by. The one I would like to recommend is the Country Pride restaurant in the T/A service center. There is also a McDonald's & a Sub-Way in the area.
