"The hotel was well furnished and modern, but there was no staff for the dining area for dinner. They did however have 2 gas guerrillas and one charcoal grill available so we went to a local grocery store and bought some steaks, corn on the coo and salad fixings and had an old fashioned grill ..."

Stanley ND is a charming town with friendly people. I was blown away by the fact that the locals don't lock their vehicles. The locals were wearing shorts and t-shirts even though it was a little cool for me. Fabulous weather during the summer.

Stanley is a great town to work and live. People are very friendly. Just don't speed thru town
