Lovely family stay

Lovely three nights stay at the foot of The Nut. Two nice beaches in immediate vicinity, a few restaurants and cafes in walking distance make this a perfect place for a family holiday. Nightly penguin visits by the shore. A very interesting Highfield Historic Site is worth a visit (5 mins drive), so is Dipp Falls about 40 mins drive away.

We are staying in a cabin which is very well built and extra clean; all appliances, crockery & cutlery of good quality, comfortable beds, extra blankets, lovely linen. Best caravan park cabin we’ve ever stayed in. Supermarket within easy walking distance and lots of places to dine. Beautiful old town with retained heritage.

Great location, right on the beach. Nice holiday park. Staff very friendly. Nice cabin with kitchen facilities. Small bathroom with good shower, but very badly placed hairdryer. Guest laundry with a lot of dryers and a few washers. Also has clothes lines. Very quiet at night.

Basickley it was ok good family accommodation but the cutlery plats and others were not clean carpet if you walked around in bear feet your feet were black other wise beds etc clean and tidy

The cabin was very comfortable. Loved that my son and i both had a queen bed. One negative. I couldnt get the oven to work. Otherwise it was perfect.

I don’t mind staying in dated accomodation as long as it’s clean and maintained, but the cabin we stayed in had not been properly cleaned in a long time. The floor was sticky and filthy. Surfaces were dirty. The fridge was mucky. And the oven and hot plate unit desperately needed updating. Otherwise, the location was brilliant, services were great, it was fairly quite, the bed was comfy and it had most things we needed. I would just suggest to the managers that they put more effort into their cleaning of the cabins otherwise they will not have returning travellers. It wasn’t a good look.
