"My husband and I stayed here for one night in a double queen room and really enjoyed our stay. The room was huge with a beautiful view from the floor to ceiling windows. There was a dog bed , bowl, treats, ball and poop bags in the room for our dog. The bathroom had a heated floor, large shower , 2 sinks, lighted mirror and all the usual amenities .Very quiet - never heard a sound from other guests. The continental breakfast covered all the basics and was delicious especially the French Toast ! There were lots of tea and coffee options as well as hot chocolate in the room. Took our dog to breakfast with us in the lobby which was spacious with lovely views. There was a gym, hot tub and spa facilities which we did not use. Robes and slippers supplied and lots of towels and blankets. There was a games room on our floor with lots of books and games available. We had supper at Fin Folk food restaurant ( just a short walk from the hotel ) where we were allowed to take our dog .....they took her picture and hung on the wall of fame for dogs !! The food and service was good ....we had a great time. Everyone at the hotel and restaurant were very nice and helpful . We will definitely be returning ! .....and yes the room was spotless !"

"The staff were beyond accommodating and friendly when we had to make adjustments to our stay. The rooms were fantastic and equipped with all items needed - they even brought us a microwave without asking. Also, the Vanilla scented toiletries were the best hotel toiletries I’ve ever used!"

"Rooms very nice warm and clean , all though the up stairs out side access needs to be fixed, if you forget you key card ya gotta go to your room to get it , or if ya loose it your stuck up stairs … aside from that very good spot ."

"Dalvay by the Sea has the charm you are looking for when visiting PEI. The hotel is beautiful and the grounds of the hotel have much to offer. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant and both were very good. The beach is minutes away by foot. Booked a room with a view and highly recommend. I know reviews have stated this already but rooms have no TVs so I am mentioning it but the hotel has so much to offer and makes you feel like you are stepping a bit into the past so it is not necessary. Lobby and common rooms have fireplaces, board games are available as well. Hope to visit again soon! "
