"Staff was wonderful: Welcoming and friendly and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious. Everything was updated/renovated while keeping the old charm of the building. Snacks/waters in room were nice touch! Lots of fluffy towels provided. Felt safe and comfortable."

"Our stay was simply wonderful. The room was lovely, the bar was friendly, the breakfast was delicious. Will definitely choose this hotel again when I visit in the Spring. "
"An amazing hotel, the service was perfect and an unexpected upgrade really appreciated. Our room was lovely, beautiful and clean and the little extras (chocolate and champagne) really appreciated, (also don’t forget to look in the fridge which is ‘hidden’ in the wardrobe!) Bathroom was spacious and had lovely products and thick luxurious towels.
Staff were so friendly and full of advice and tips, they made you feel special and welcomed.
However breakfast was a little underwhelming, cooked options not to my taste, it may have been better to offer a selection of breakfast items to choose from, also (and I’ve seen this in other reviews), the continental breakfast area is very tight, it would be better for the Store to extend this and have the continental items separate to the tea and coffee making machines - it gets a little crowded!
