「What a brilliant pub/hotel! Will stay again. Such a lovely hotel with views by the river. Room was spacious, lots of interesting pictures, wonderful food and very polite, helpful staff. Convenient parking. Loved the spiral staircase with over hanging wisteria!」

「Stayed here for 3 nights on this trip. A very comfortable stay with exceptional service. The air conditioner in the room stopped functioning, but the staff quickly took care of the matter as soon as we reported it and compensated us with many free drink vouchers; the manager got soaked in the process of fixing the air conditioning but continued to apologise to us for the inconvenience. The staff are very welcoming, and the environment is very relaxing. Will highly recommend this hotel to anyone...

「Simon was a very polite host but we had a few issues with our stay. The apartment is near a nightclub and on one night had to pass our way through the crowd to enter. It wasn't just the noise from the nightclub but also pigeons in /behind the bedroom wall which made it very hard to sleep. We told Simon who kindly offered us another room but at that point we'd decided to leave early. Whilst the place was clean and tidy it had poor shower pressure, limited storage and a faulty TV. 「The hotel is modern and clean. The air con was not working in our room and beung unable to open the windows, the room was very hot. I was unable to ring reception to report the issue becase the phone in the toom was not working either, so I had to use my mobile to ring in externally. The staff offered to try to re set the aircon from reception but this did not work. Half an hour later and after a further phonecall, a member of staff bought a stand alone fan to the room. A very disappointing...

「⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful stay at The Globe, Topsham. From start to finish, everything was excellent — comfortable rooms, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and great attention to detail. The location is perfect, and the staff made the experience feel effortless and genuinely enjoyable. I’d happily return and highly recommend it. 5/5 on all fronts.」
