"Menu fresh but no waffles."

"The room was clean and fresh. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Y were plenty of choices for breakfast! I gave four starts instead of five for a few reasons. 1- the separation between the first and second floor was so thin that anytime someone in the room above us would walk, it sounded like pounding. Also their shower was dipper loud in our room. 2- there was a lot of garbage in the hallways between the rooms. That could have been from wind I suppose, but it just looked very messy along with the cobwebs with leaves in them in the room lights outside the doors. 3- I had booked two nights and they only left enough coffee in the room for one cup for each of us. It would have been nice to have enough for two cups for each of its since the main desk is not attached to the room and we have to go outside to get there. 4- The fact that the room where you have breakfast is not attached to the guest rooms is not ideal. With bad weather, you'd have to put on jackets or have umbrellas handy on order to just get to it. For the most part we food like our room and our stay and would recommend this hotel, but would also give anyone we told about it the aforementioned caveats."

"Everything was great had dinner in the room and it arrived timely and room was clean and very comfortable beds. I just couldn’t say enough maid service was great as well. "

"All restaurants onsite were not open! We had to order from a restaurant nearby but it really was not set up properly for room service. We had to go there to order and pickup and they were not really sure of the process for hotel guests so we just paid with a separate CC. Breakfast was essentially not available and we had to go to town to pickup breakfast as well. The heat in our room did not work for the first day and night! The hotel knew they had a situation going on but did not say anything to us in advance and the hotel was sold-out.At first they suggested a space heater but then another supervisor came on duty and told us those were not premitted - and we could understand why. It was fixed by our second night. We were told we would get a credit toward the first night but we did not?"

"Our first trip to St Michael’s for the Christmas festival - and it was wonderful. We loved our accommodations at the Wildset. The room was clean and spacious and comfortable - and the staff were welcoming and gracious! We plan on staying again!"
