The tub was backed up and took an hour to drain. On the elevator, I was another guest with a plunger going back to her room, They should not even be renting out rooms now. Terrible.

This place is under active renovation. The entire first floor is being renovated and that caused nails and screws on the floor the first and second days. Fine layer of dust covered stuff. The front desk isn’t manned most of the time but I just hunted someone down for help ( new towels). Our actual room was on the second floor and it was fine. The cooling system in the room was pretty noisy. The breakfast was ok- sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy as well as cold cereal, bread, juice and coffee. The staff were all really nice and helpful. This place is located in Troy Illinois and was a pretty easy drive into St Louis for activities. We would probably stay there again. It will be pretty nice once the renovations are completed.

The hotel was doing renovations and that would have been nice to know. The sink in the little kitchen area didn't work and they never came to fix it, the toilet seat had melt wax all over it, the only good thing was the guy that checked us in was super nice, the pool was perfect for my 4 yr old and the breakfast was ok

We arrived and the hotel was under major construction (there was no prior notice of the construction). The building looked abandoned from the outside and we were the only ones there. When I went to check in there was no one in the lobby for quite sometime. We went to our room after checking in and it was in bad shape. One of the sinks leaked and didn’t have hot water. The bathroom was filthy. There was literally dirt in the cracks of the bathroom tiles. The paint and was bubbling and peeling off the walls. Out in the hallways there were tons of missing ceiling tiles. My kids went to the pool and they didn’t have lighting in there for the first 30 mins. It was a very sad experience and we won’t be staying there again. Money wasted.

Front desk staff at night shift is really nice, but the room is not clean at all, floor is dirty microwave dirty bed liner has hair and blood stains. 100% is not washed.

Staff is very nice and concerned about our stay. They knew we were going to swim so they checked and adjusted water and room temperature. Rooms and beds were clean. It is rated appropriately as some some thngs could need updating like baseboards, cracking stuff in corners. Breakfast was basic. Packets of oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, warmers full of egg patties, sausage patties and biscuits and gravy. This is my " go to" place when i visit. It has everything I need in a great location for a good price.

Trash in all trash cans. Slow draining in tub, sink and toilet. The room was cleaned once during our stay. We had to request that cleaning. Manager was unavailable. We were told different stories from staff members.
