「The room had a digitally controlled air conditioner. It worked. It was set for 71*F which was ok but we couldn’t find the controller. Until morning. It was in the drawer of the night stand. I suggest when the room is cleaned and prepped that AC and TV controllers should be left in plain view for the guests.」

「Property is at a great location and has great access to the water for a swim. However, general maintenance on the outside is needed! Restaurant could offer a basic breakfast menu guests even though Tim Hortons is close by. Safety was not a concern during our stay!」

「The staff made a quick change to accommodate us in a room on the first floor. Parking was convenient and breakfast was fine. Good location for our needs. Aurora’s Restaurant was a good find.」

「The rooms are clean and quaint. It is an older motel but renovated and perfect for our needs. Parking is right outside your door.」

「The room was very outdated to the 70’s. Cleanliness was non existent. The bathroom had mold and mildew in most areas of the floor corners. Floors and walls were terribly dirty. No evidence of sweeping and vacuuming or cleaning. Previous room users hair could be seen on floor corners … particularly in the bathroom. Independent health inspectors should conduct audits of rooms in this facility which will confirm unsanitary hygiene conditions. Avoid this facility period. Expedia should delete this...

「This is the best cabin we rented. It had old charm rustic and was right on the water, with lots of activities available (walks, biking, swimming, kayaking). We loved exploring the island and bays. Had nice grilled dinner and marshmallows on the fire. We highly recommend this resort!」

「This is a great hotel for Travellers. Our room had a larger refrigerator with a working freezer which was fantastic for preparing meals for the trip to Thunder Bay. Great staff-friendly and helpful. Lovely selection of toppings for our breakfast yogurt and great coffee.」
