Tired worn down older hotel on an exquisitely beautiful ( mostly) quiet beach. 20 minute walk to restaurants in Grand Anse. Few dining options near hotel. Loud ( music decibel) party boats crowded with cruise ship people visited the beach ruining the quiet vibe - which was the best part of it. Would not return. Would stay on Grand Anse instead.

We arrived after 3pm (check in is at 3pm) and our room was not ready. We were then told that we were "upgraded" so instead of the ground floor ocean front room we booked we were given a room 3 flights up near the compound's burning garbage heap. It was a downgrade.

The room was very clean, well appointed and well air conditioned! It's right on a beautiful beach that's very quiet and calm. The hotel offers snorkel gear, kayaks, towels and beach chairs to use which was awesome. Above all else though, ALL of the staff are very warm, welcoming and helpful folks that were happy to help arrange taxis and activities to get across the island. 10/10 would recommend!

Location is great. Beach is spectacular. Beautiful color and protected on both sides of the beach making for calm waters. Most of the time the beach is also quiet. Several food and bar option within easy walking distance. Resort is ok. Very nice views of the water. Staff were general very nice and if asked attentive and helpful. Rooms were cleaned with fresh towels everyday. The resort could updating. Beach towels seem to be limited. Some of the staff seemed a bit clueless. Beach and pool chairs are limited. Tour groups would occasionally take over the pool and bar area.

Grenada is beautiful.This hotel…not so much! This is easily the worst hotel/“resort” I have ever stayed in. I have been to at least 15 countries and 8 Caribbean islands. Let’s start w the fact that the pic on the web is fiction. If this place ever looked like that I can assure you it does not now. Our beds had dirty linen. There were mismatched lamps w dirty lampshades throughout the room. Not one of them a had a bulb more than 40 watts. With every light on in the room I could not see to read before bed because of the lack of light. Also there was NO HOT WATER in the bathroom. No hot water at a beach resort/hotel is unacceptable by any standards.When we asked the hotel management to address the lack of even warm water they sent a man to repair it who ran his hand under the lukewarm at best  water and attempted to gaslight us by repeating over and over that the water was hot. There are cats all over the property and they literally lounge freely outside of the rooms, at the beach bar and on the beach itself. My sister had an allergic reaction due to the cat dander being tracked into the room & the management denied the cats’ existence altogether. More gaslighting of course, so that we couldn’t switch hotels. The door to the room couldn't close completely. They also had the worst food.I ordered a simple jerk chicken wrap and it arrived charred black & burnt on one side! When I complained because I could not eat it, they deducted the tax! This hotel is substandard & unacceptable.
