Clean room, bathroom. Free breakfast, limited to oatmeal, yogurt, bagels, muffins & cereal, some fruit. Which worked fine for us. Appreciated the available coffee/tea 24/7. Good location if you are able to walk 13 mins to St George Street with all the shops, restaurants & bars. And loved the antique shops just north of hotel, plus close to trolly stops.. Again, a great location for everything.

Disappointing. We arrived at 3pm before many other guests and were immediately told we had a ground room floor, something that scares me since being burglarized. When I explained and asked for a room anywhere above, even if a lower rate, the clerk laughed at my concern (actually did) and simply refused saying that wax our room, she’d decided so. At that point we wanted to leave for any other hotel, but could not as our children were already en route for the fire fighter cadet gathering this weekend. So I asked again and she said I would have to pay an additional amount over the significant price already booked through your company. We were further shocked when told we had to pay an additional non refundable big amount (Im not allowed to say how much or I may not submit this, also shocking) for on site parking - shocking since Expedia’s big point is that there will be no additional charges. We were stuck and forced to go to the room which was dark, dismal, had no coffee machine or any amenities - even a picture wax missing from the wall!! I’ll be checking our credit card carefully to ensure the amount held for incidentals which was put on our card is returned - especially since there were none available!! We will never (and typically we avoid that extreme) stay at any Hilton related accommodations again and be sure to warn our friends, family and colleagues of the awful experience we had at the Sparks Hilton.

Completely overrated for what it delivers!! My husband and I used to stay in this hotel a few years ago and decided to stay again with our family that came from Brazil to spend the New Year’s with us. They changed the brand and unfortunately didn’t upgrade anything that could be more aligned with the brand, and they kept one of the employees, who was the same lady that was there in our last stay, and was extremely rude and unprepared to be a position she was behind the front desk, with a Management responsibility. But we decided to give the hotel another try since we used to stay there all the time I went to St Augustine. She was again the person in the front desk and our experience with her was below horrible, she was extremely rude, unprofessional, and didn’t care about our needs. It was obvious that she’s not the type of personality that a hotel should put in the front of the guest. I am a bachelor in tourism and hospitality and this is one of the first thing we learn in this business, customer service is what says all this establishments apart and make the guest experience unique. We will never come back after our second try and last experience with this lady hosting in the front desk. We were charged an outrageous amount to stay one night because of the Christmas light Season and hours experience were frustrating by far about what were delivered versus what we paid for.
