The floor had obviously not been vacuumed, but I was tired and everything else looked okay so I didn't complain. When I got in bed and turned the lamp on, there were drops of something all over the lamp shade. Then I saw it all over the head board. Like someone shook a can and opened it on the bed letting it spray everywhere. So I felt pretty dirty trying to sleep. Then, the alarm went off at 5:45am!!! You may have better luck, but I will never stay there again. Plenty of other options in the area.

This site is about 10 mins., driving time from the main areas of St. Augustine. However, it is very convenient and very well-maintained. The breakfast was very good. The only problem is that parking can be a bit of a problem when the hotel is fully occupied. The beds were excellent. There are some good restaurants in the vicinity, such as The Cracker Barrel, Ruby Tuesday, IHOP and so on.

The hotel needs a little care in all departments: the staff at the check in was not welcoming it felt more bother since she has to come out from back office to the front desk, also I booked thru expedía for 5 people and “paid” for that type of room but it wasn’t available. The room was nice but i has roaches in the draws, and the breakfast is better to skip.

The first room they gave me when I walked through the door I could immediately smell a Musky or moldy kind of smell so I went down to the receptionist and asked for different room which they gave me without a problem. That room was definitely a lot better as far as air quality. Overall you can tell that this hotel is pretty old especially when you look at the shower and bathtub the shower heads Etc are completely oxidated. My biggest problem was the cleanliness. I walked on the floors without shoes or socks for a moment and it was disgusting because I immediately could feel either sand or dust or crumbs or whatever it was sticking to my feet. The little desk they have in there head something sticky crusty on there which was also very disgusting. Check out the picture of my socks which I put on after I realized that my feet are getting dirty and that there is dirt stuff on the floor I posted a picture of them and also a picture of the Crusty residue on the desk. The blanket had some weird little stains on there not sure what it was but I think the place in general could have been a lot cleaner. Sure we can blame all of this to the age of the place but if the cleaning staff would do a better job I wouldn't be giving this kind of review. Two positive things I have to remark is that the place is surprisingly quiet considering that it is very close to the highway and the other thing I want to remark is that the beds are pretty comfortable.

Very average experience. Blankets seemed like they were cleaned/washed but still had stains. Bathroom curtain also was stained. When TV wasn't working, front desk gave me a TV remote to fix the TV myself.

The room smelled so badly, I could barely sleep. We didn’t even bring a dog but they gave us a “dog room” so it stunk like pee and chemicals to try to cover up the pee. I smelled worse than a kennel or vet’s office.

The hotel in general was very clean and quiet. The staff were very friendly. But the room left lots to be desired. The shower head barely trickled water despite good flow from the spout. There was not one hanger in the closet and there was only a desk chair. The usual easy chair and reading light were missing. Both mattresses had big sags in the middle, obviously worn out. The breakfast spread was ok but there were no condiments (salt,pepper, ketchup) or napkins to be found. LaQuinta is our hotel of choice but this one missed the mark by a mile.

The hotel eas okay. Bathroom clean, bed was great. The noise from the wall unit was so noisey I had to unplug it. This was a pet hotel had I known it would have been a hard pass!! The smell of the hotel was so so bad!

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. When my granddaughter got there she said the room smelled, so they gave her a new room which already had a guest. Finally got a room that was clean. When we got there we got a nice clean room. The breakfast was good, but the lady who put the breakfast out was not very friendly. She even turned the lights off at 8:45 when breakfast is till 9. Overall we had a good stay
