A convenient location and clean. The room was uncomfortable as it was an attic with several dormers, especially when the cost per night was in excess of $600. Another surprise was we had to pay for our breakfast ($25/person) when the room was advertised as a bed and breakfast. I would not stay there again.

Historic and eclectic buildings with amazing staff! A quiet area with discount to The Kingsbrae Gardens and a quick walk to downtown St. Andrew's. The only negatives were the price and the shower was tiny with very limited hot water.

Our room was lovely, but we had several issues. Bathroom floor was covered with hair, the TV didn’t work. We had to request towels(they forgot to put any in our room), but they were very apologetic and immediately provided us with some. Most importantly, there was no hot water in the shower…cold water! Our suite was very expensive, so a wished we did not have these issues.

The staff is extremely helpful, pleasant and polite. The inn and its grounds are immaculately maintained. The breakfast served at the time of your choosing was delicious and what a treat to savor it on the private patio with the birds singing and the lovely manicured grounds to enjoy. The inn is next door to the Kingsbrae Gardens and there is a gate to enter just to the right of the front door. I enjoyed the well appointed room, the whirlpool tub and the beautiful library and living room areas. Sherry and tea or coffee are served in the library at 4PM. It’s like a dream of stepping back in time to a slower more genteel era. Just lovely.

Great location and it looks charming from the outside. Perhaps the rooms in the main building are, but mine was full of mismatched Costco and fake wood furniture from the 80’s. Vinyl dining room chairs—though there was no dining room (lol). Poor lighting. None of the fabrics in the room matched. Window air conditioner was noisy, dirty, and tepid. No one in reception when I arrived and the front door was locked so I had to call a number and wait for ten minutes to check. Breakfast included is advertised on the hotel website, but because I booked through Expedia they wouldn’t honor that and said it would be $25. I declined. No bath, only a shower. They bill themselves as a five star hotel, but even 4 star is a stretch.

Our recent two night stay at the Kingsbrae Arms Inn was exceptional. Room was great with an absolutely stunning view. Staff were outstanding. When we arrived, the host that checked us in was extremely outgoing and friendly. Once she explained everything and left, I called to ask if they had a corkscrew for our wine as we forgot to bring one. She returned to the premises from her way home and brought it to the room. Amazing customer service. The breakfast(s), definitely surpassed expectations and the ladies,one waiting on us as well as the chef were top notch. Food was the best and the ladies were wonderful. Prompt, delightful, informative and sincere. Huge Thank You to the staff. We will definitely return

Unfortunately, this did not qualify as a 5 star accommodation. It is a gorgeous , older home with beautiful gardens but amenities and support from staff was disappointing. Our room , quite “cozy” was lacking in supplies like tissues, shower cap, water bottles, extra towels, and it was dark with lights needing replacement. This could be a 5 star accommodation with more attention to detail and more staff present in site. Breakfast should def be included and not an extra charge!
