"Very dirty and poorly maintained. Never asked how my stay was and asked for a tip on paying for the room. Keep away from this hotel. Dirty AC and dust all over the ceiling"

"Went to bed early for as I had an early flight. Got woke up by someone in parking lot wandering around our car. Got woke up again later by someone pounding on our door and standing outside our room. Called the front desk and they advised they would send someone right away. Not a restful or stress-free stay."

"Room was great but the hotel is under renovation and there was construction material throughout the hotel. As well they closed the pool and hot tub in order to use the area for storage. That was one of the reasons I booked there so I was not happy."

"Okay stay overall Staff was nice. Breakfast was good - plenty and variety. But hotel not the cleanest and a bit run down, considering the price. Hallway littered all the time. Garbage stacked in corner right outside the elevator all three days there. Room bathroom looked clean but had an off-odour: musty, unclean type of smell. We booked because of the indoor pool, but during booking it wasn't mentioned that pool was closed for maintenance. We stayed, it met our needs, but I probably won't book again on my next trip in 6 months."

"We have often stayed at thisTimmins hotel. The deterioration is visible and shocking. Last year on our visit to Timmins only one elevator was functioning. This year only one elevator continues to function. The working elevator was dirty. There are numerous security guards on the property at all times. The toaster at breakfast didn't work. Selection was poor. On the positive side, our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff was professional and helpful. What made the condition of this hotel stand out was that we stayed at Timmins Holiday Inn Express on one night followed by North Bay Holiday Inn Express the next night. What a difference! The standard in North Bay was far superior."
