「Everything was clean and ready for us. Was a cold week but still nice and warm with the gas logs. Kitchen was supplied with utensils and cooking equipment. Enjoyed our stay. We will be back. 」

「A cheap place to stay near the parkway, the owner was nice.」

「The rooms are clean and okay. Our room had, light bulbs burned out, closet door would not close, shower curtain stuck on curtain rack. Only soap, shampoo and busted lotion bottle. The restaurant was not enjoyable because of the food quality/cooking was poor. Restaurant service was barely okay because we didn't get what we ordered. Very slow service. Hot tub was closed. Disappointed. Person who worked Ice Cream bar was disrespectful and downright hateful. The best thing is the beautiful...

「Very close to Linville Falls walking trails and just off the designated blue ridge parkway access road. It had heating which was great for drying clothes and on a very wet and windy night. Very large and comfy bed. There were no coffee/tea making facilities in room and you had to go to the reception building (separate and no undercover route) to get hot water (and take your own instant coffee/tea). There was a fridge and microwave in the room but no crockery/cutlery. Building was reasonably...

「Quite interesting.」

「Great location」

「Great stay for our weekend trip. The entrance to the parking lot was odd. The hotel room was immaculate. The staff was super nice. We really enjoyed it and would definitely stay again. Breakfast was okay. The waffles were the best part. We didn’t use the pool or even go in the pool area so I can’t comment on that. Don’t recommend using the vending machine either. It gave me a drink that expired 5 months prior.」

「extremely clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed.」

「Super clean!! Especially with it spread out. Beautiful mornings drinking coffee and looking at the mountains. Be prepared, it is a drive so bring what you need!!」

「Great updated historical property! Food was excellent and enjoyed the bars with different settings and live music.」

「The place was very nice. Hosts were excellent.」

「The room was spacious enough, but on our first day, the TV wasn't working; we were told this was an issue in all the rooms. When I asked at the reception the next morning, they were completely unaware of the problem but promised to look into it. Naturally, we received no compensation. The TV was indeed fixed on the second day. I had also booked breakfast with the room, but the meal was poor and not worth the price. The selection was very limited, and the portions were far from satisfying.」

「Planned a short getaway to hike Mount Mitchell and this place could not have been more perfectly located to the trailhead. The Lodge is newly built, and ground are impeccably well maintained. The staff was super helpful. They even came by to drop off a lighter so the firepit could be put to use. They have a common use area with a ktichen and grills that can be utilized which is an added bonus as I don’t recall reading about all they had available to make the stay above and beyond expectations....
