Staff trying but poor hostel

We’ll start with the good: Comfy mattress, individual lights/power outlets and amazing location. Unfortunately, a lot to be desired. Opened in 2010, this would have been an awesome building at the time. But it feels like no one has maintained it since then. A broken escalator in the middle of the hostel has clearly been out of service for a long time. All of the storage cupboards in the room were either jammed shut or without keys. Hard to feel secure about your belongings. Additionally: - the wifi only worked on the ground level - the pillow felt like 3 rocks in a pillowcase - the ladder to the top bunk had only two rungs - really dangerous - the shower never got washed while I was there (and the drain blocked on the final day). Pretty disappointing place to stay for a solo traveller.

Es ist eine sehr einfache Unterkunft, hat im klassischen Sinne nichts mit einem Hostel zu tun. Keine wirkliche Rezeption, Gemeinschaftsräume oder sonstiges vorhanden. Offene Treppenhaus somit jeglichem Lärm und Gerüchen der untenstehenden Küche aufgesetzt. Zimmer sehr sporadisch eingerichte. Zum schalfen reicht es, mehr aber auch nicht. Einziger Vorteil sehr zentral gelegen. Der Rezeptionist war nett und zuvorkommend. Die Beschreibung bei Expedia lässt auf besseres schließen was es eigentlich ist.

Was a great location. Easy to find. Definitely not a hostel, more of a budget hotel. The private bunks are nice. Shower was odd, would leak water all over the floor. Request a bottom bunk. The ladders are terrible.

Excellent accommodation

Lovely hostel. Very friendly check in staff. 24hr reception. Excellent location. Can be a little noisy at night, but then it is a hostel, lots of young people enjoying themselves, so to be expected! Super clean comfortable room.

Excellente situation dans centre historique

Auberge située dans le centre historique de Split. Excellent accueil et surclassement en chambre double. C'est mon 3ème séjour dans cette auberge et malgré le manque d'une cuisine, c'est un excellent choix.

Greit hostel med perfekt beliggenhet

Fint hostel med store låsbare skap. Lite plass til å tørke klær o.l dersom man har vært på stranda, her gjelder det å være kreativ. Ligger nydelig til i gamlebyen i split med noen minutters gange unna det historiske området. Toalett og dusj er inne på rommet; fordelen et at det ikke er så mange som deler bad, ulempen er at det kan bli litt «lytt» for den som har seng rett ved siden av doen.

I wasn't at this large hostel very long, getting there in the evening and leaving early morning, but it was clean and very central. I was able to leave my bag in luggage room before check in. This is a modern hostel with bright colours and a space age feel to it. I was in a mixed dorm, with the guy making sure he put me into a bottom bunk (as were the other girls in my room), even without me asking. Each bunk has a curtain, shelf, plug socket and light. There was a separate toilet and shower in the room, as well as a sink in the main part of the room. There was no kitchen or other communal areas, instead there's a cafe bar downstairs, which has a couple of guys on guitars playing covers a few nights a week. The hostel is in the old town, where bars have to close overnight 1am. The overnight staff dealt 3 times with the same group of boys who came back very drunk, trying to bring non-guests back to their room to carry on the party. Luck of the drawer in a hostel in a party town.

Originalt hostel i hjertet av Split

Originalt hostel med enkelt og effektfullt design og smart planløsning. Vi hadde familierom og ungdommene på hemsen, som også likte dette. Fantastisk beliggenhet i hjertet av gamlebyen i Split som står på UNESCOs verdensarvliste. Enkel innsjekk, døgnåpen resepsjon i baren til restauranten.

The hostel was nice and clean, in an excellent location. Walking distance to everything in old town and the ferry and bus terminals. Staff were friendly. The bright yellow decor was quite intense! And the room was very bright as only a thin white blind over the window. Overall a very pleasant stay

6인 1실 세면대 2개, 샤워 1칸, 화장실 1칸 분리되어있습니다.가격을 생각하면 나쁘지않아요. 다만 샤워공간이 너무 좁고 옷이나 수건을 걸어둘 공간이 없었어요.

En medio del Old Town

El Hostel está muy bien ubicado, en pleno Old Town. En la primera planta hay un restaurante y bar. En este caso si se escucha un poco del sonido del bar en la noche. El Hostel está bien diseñado, pero no es 100% cómodo, sobretodo si te asignan la cama de arriba. Dentro de la habitación está el baño ynla ducha y un escritorio. No tiene un área común como tal, hay un espacio al fondo, que nadie usa. Aún así lo considero una buena opción y probablemente vuelva.

Good stay for one night

Good hostel in a great location in Split. We only stayed here the one night before meeting for a tour at the hostel the next morning. We had a six bed female dorm which was as comfortable as can be. Every bed has a light, shelf, curtain to close over, powerpoint so it is has everything you could need. There was also a shower and toilet in our dorm which was handy. There was also lockers for your valuables which I found impressive. Great stay at this hostel.
