「Good location but not as depicted on web. Very old bathroom, kitchen basic and not up to today’s standard. Needs a proper mirror not a tiny shaving mirror. Mirror on bathroom cabinet too high to use. Balcony was only a shared terrace and unsuitable for tourists. Light fittings in kitchen and bathroom had no covers leaving wires exposed. We had to request cleaners after 4 days as no towels, tea towels etc.」

「Stipan is situated a few minutes' walk from a main taxi rank. It has all you need for a self-catering stay, fruit, veg and fresh meat are absolutely top quality! Local bars and cafes offer good value if you prefer. We use Split as a hub; you can take day excursions to the islands and visiting the Roman remains at Salona is a fantastic experience. Communication with property is simple with quick response times.」
