「Staff are not friendly they just look at you don’t even know how to say good morning. So we moved to Dromoland castle every staff in Dromoland greet you and smile always ask if we need anything. 」

「The whole hotel was very rundown and sad. It smelled like stale bar smoke. The room had hair on the bed along with worn out and sandpaper rough linens. The shower door was hanging off its track. There was mold in the corners and the carpet stunk. It felt like a you hostel more than a hotel. 」

「Large room for three adults, excellent Irish breasts the associated restaurant next door included - started at 9 when the restaurant opened but was ok as we used the time to go to the lighthouse on the peninsula about 25 km from Kilkee; plentiful free street parking in front - it's a one way street so no bad traffic, food options nearby, very close to the Kilkee cliff walk which is just awesome; the drawbacks were check in by 9 pm which was ok as we went out first day after overnight flight and...

「We stayed here for 6 nights as a family. The check in process is easy, house was clean, good size and beds comfortable. We had great night sleep. The house is in perfect location of Kilrush as everything was walking distance! We would definitely use again as we have family there and it is perfect for us. Thanks Marcus for a lovely stay!」

「When arriving to the property turn into the 1st driveway. It's not marked and Google maps takes you to the 2nd driveway which is an exit only. Staff was very friendly and inviting. Rooms were clean but you might have to walk up a 1/2 flight of stairs depending on where your room is. The Poets Corner bar has an excellent selection of rare Irish Whiskey. There was no trad music this night but the atmosphere more than made up for it. Highly recommend if your looking for somewhere quiet...
