「Windom, MN hotel 7 nights, 2 adults. After the first night, there was a noticeable decline in housekeeping. Amenities like shampoo, conditioner, water cups were not replenished during room service. The breakfast attendant was busy socializing with team members in the breakfast area and had to be reminded to refill the breakfast amenities. 「Lower your bar. Mostly clean, but horribly overpriced. A tiny, ancient motel, rooms opening out to the lot (which I like). Manager was super nice, walked me to my room. It's July, & it was literally about 100 degrees all weekend. The floors are laminate, which is nice & easy to keep clean. Tiny room, 2 double beds (old bed spreads) fill the entire width of the room wall to wall, with a couple feet between. Small fridge with a separate freezer which was nice. Wall air conditioner worked well,...

「The hotel has a great location and is near shops and restaurants. Very Quiet and easy access from different sides of town. The staff was helpful and respectful.」

「The receptionist was not very engaging or helpful. The room was really nice and we actually found pillows that weren’t flat. The sheets did not cover the king bed but that has become common. The breakfast was OK but no real oatmeal with some items to add to it. The rest was what has become typical breakfast fare.」
