"Very expensive for what you get, but it also comes with the area. Hotel was good, shower was the highlight, strong water pressure. Pool was closed as it was out of season. Parking was ok even though one side was unpaved. The breakfast could have been better but was good enough. I think the best value for this hotel is if you play golf as well. Hotel Liabeny

10/10 Excellent

"The downstairs lobby restrooms just need a little extra attention."

Hotel Emperador

10/10 Excellent

"5 stars. A perfect base for exploring Madrid. We stayed at Hotel Emperador on Gran Vía during our trip to Spain, and it was an easy choice. The location is hard to beat: right on Gran Vía, steps from Callao and Plaza de España, with great restaurants, tapas bars and cafes within a few minutes' walk. We walked to the Royal Palace and had breakfast, lunch and dinner within minutes of the front door. We got a room upgrade thanks to Expedia VIP and the room was wonderful! The staff were friendly and super helpful and made us feel at home. We felt like a 5 star hotel with staff carrying our luggage and helping us get transportation. We came back to the hotel after long days of sightseeing and it was always comfortable and quiet. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Madrid who wants to be in the middle of everything. Tip: ask the front desk for restaurant recommendations, and book Palacio Real tickets ahead of time."
