Top Southern Iceland Hotel Reviews
Exeter Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The staff were excellent and very helpful"
Reykjavik Residence Apartment Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Great"
Alda Hotel Reykjavik
8/10 Good
"Overall it was a good hotel, breakfast was pretty disappointing. The location was very convenient and walkable to major tourists spots."
Grandi by Center Hotels
10/10 Excellent
"My stay at Grandi Hotel was excellent. A lot of people checking in and out, however the wait wasn’t too long and the staff were helpful and friendly. Stayed for 3 nights. Rooms were cleaned daily upon request and it was quiet on the 5th floor. Bar staff were also helpful and offered great service. Overall highly recommend if you want to stay in that area of Reykjavik."
Center Hotels Plaza
8/10 Good
"This is a vey acceptable hotel that was clean and delivered what one wants for a one night pre-crusie trip. The breakfast was decent, although crowded since most of the hotel guests were leaving about the same time. The best thing about this hotel is its location. It is only a short walk to wherever one wants to go. Definitely choose this one for it walkability."
Hótel Jokulsarlon - Glacier Lagoon Hotel

Hotel Reykjavik Saga
8/10 Good
"Nice property and modern. Very local and walking distance to restaurant, attractions and stores. Front desk was a little off-putting. Weren’t so friendly as I’m used to. But the bartender at the bar inside was great and personable."
Hotel Vík í Mýrdal
10/10 Excellent
"Good location. Excellent breakfast."
CityHub Reykjavik
10/10 Excellent
"The rooms are very small but that is to be expected and how you are saving money compared to staying at a traditional hotel. I was surprised by how quiet it was. The shared bathrooms were not an issue and they were well kept. I appreciated being able to use the refrigerator to store some groceries and save money on breakfast. The coffee machine was awesome and made mornings very convenient. The beer on draft and the draft alcohol shots were fabulous ideas, although I did not partake of them, I did see a lot of people in the lobby area so I assume other people were enjoying the alcohol. CityHub is literally a couple of blocks over from the main downtown area and just up the street from the bus stop. It was very convenient."
