We had a great stay at The Beaches Guest House. The owners are a delight and the property is spotlessly clean, very comfortable and very well appointed. The breakfast was also very good. Would not hesitate to return.

I would recommend this Guest House for your Vacation to Thorpe Bay, Southend on Sea. Joe and Buzz give you their personal Welcome into their Guest House. You feel that you are at home with family. Perfect for Solo vacationers and Seniors. Location near the quiet end of Southend on Sea in the area of Thorpe Bay with a beautiful view of Thames Estuary.

The staff who run the property are very welcoming and happy to help. The property itself is in top class condition and trumps any hotel room. Another highlight is the breakfast, which was included in my rate, which include tea or cafetière coffee, a fruit platter, cereals and a cooked breakfast (e.g. salmon and scrambled eggs on granary bread) with many options available. I would highly recommend a stay here and will come again if I am ever back in Southend.

Lovely stay at The Beaches, hosts were amazing. Great room some some lovely touches, very homely. Parking on street if space available. Approx 1 mile from pier which was a lovely walk along the seashore. Breakfast was fantastic, continental selection, fruit plate and then choice from the menu I selected smoked salmon & scrambled eggs on toast,unlimited tea or coffee. Front & back outdoor sitting area. Would definately recommend.
