"We booked this hotel last minute knowing little about Nashville but decided to spend the night here while passing through. Upon first look, it appeared to be a bit run down, and it’s true this hotel is a little older and could use some updating, but if it keeps the price low, with the high level of cleanliness and attentiveness of the staff, I’d say leave it, there’s nothing wrong with having a slightly older building if it’s clean and the location is amazing. Also, the beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms are updated. We were able to walk all the way to Broadway and back without discomfort and I was surprised how quiet and comfortably we slept. I will definitely stay here again when I have more time and take in more of the nearby eateries, check out Music Row, and enjoy the proximity to everything in downtown Nashville. I’ll leave my car parked, with the $20 parking fee providing a safe and well lit space for me not to worry about it."
