My room 66 was at the top of 3/4 flights of stairs, the lift was only used for luggage. The room was hot, only a fan and small window. The weather was usually hot on 17 jul ,but due to roof gully no wind blows into room .If air con is your thing dont stay here..the shower had mildew stains around the join to the wall ,and could do with a chemical treatment. The owner said he was renovating, but this could be done now.Breakfast was well cooked, excellent bacon, No fresh bread rolls or fruit or cheese, only sliced bread for toast. For £120 a night I expected better. The reception lady was welcoming and helpful. The hotel is in a good central position for visiting the town and has an old world charm which was lovely. I would stay again but in a renovated room with air con or on a winter break
