We stayed in a standard bedroom for 2 nights. The room was very tired and bland. The bathroom had mould around the bath handles and could do with modernising. It was a shame because the building has lovely grounds and communal areas are pleasant too. Staff were friendly and food was good.

We enjoyed our stay here in the summer holidays. However, I was shocked to learn children were only allowed to use the pool between 4.30-6pm. This was not a very suitable time especially around teatime & with it being school holidays!! We went to the local leisure instead my son throughly enjoyed Romsey Rapids. We had intended using the amenities as a family but this wasn’t to be as the time wasn’t very family friendly particularly when this was one of the main reason I’d booked to use the pool!

Fabulous hotel! Great location for the Seawork expo I was attending the following day. All your staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. I'm particularly grateful to one of your female bar staff who retrieved my laptop which I left on a seat after a meeting, really sorry, I don't know her name but I'm so grateful. This was a work trip but I'll definitely be back whether for professional or personal reasons.

My son and i had a lovely stay here on my birthday and the staff and food were great. However one of the reasons I picked this hotel was the pool. When we went to go in the pool we were told children are only allowed on 4:30-6 daily! I thought that was ridiculous! When we managed to get in there for half an hour there was a teenage girl lying on one of the loungers vaping and swearing which was nice at all!

everything was really good, staff good, restaurant staff the evening were fab, HOWEVER breakfast the following morning was nothing but shambolic and ruined a really good visit i stood at the waiting area for 15-20 minutes with no a person in site to ask/help , eventually i just walked out and left
