While in South Bend, Innisfree B&B is a must!

An absolutely lovely B&B and Stephanie was a wonderful host. She even packed us a breakfast to go because we had to depart very early in the morning.

We were thrilled to stay at a place with so much character, truly unique. We stayed in the Michael Collins room, which had a private attached bathroom pretty original to the era with a clawfoot tub -- loved it! If you want modern and generic, this is not that place. It was a visual delight, a historical delight, and our son thought it was super cool, too. We were comfortable, it was quiet, it was fun (we played Monopoly), and it was so nice to come downstairs and be greeted by a fresh and homey breakfast. Stephanie was welcoming and kind, and shared an album of historical photos with us. Thank you!

Cool Victorian home

The house is very historic and beautiful. The host was very helpful and nice. Breakfast was great and timed to our needs. As this is an old house, the bathrooms are shared and there are stairs to navigate. Nonetheless, it is a great place to stay with those limitations.

We didn’t take advantage of the breakfast after the first morning because of our schedule but appreciated the availability of fresh, good coffee each morning. Our room (Michael Collins) was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the TV choices. It’s Notre Dame friendly and love the Irish theme through the house.

What a delightful B&B. This place reminded me of my stay in Kilkenny, and is truly a Celtic B&B. The rooms were filled with history and intrigue. The room was a good size, clean, and perfect for my stay. This travel was for my son's graduation from ND - this was the perfect venue for me. It was so close to the university but far enough away that it was quiet. The breakfast by Stephanie was amazing and truly gourmet. I loved this place and will go back for sure.

The Irish experience in South Bend

A wonderful place to stay for a visit to Noter Dame. Stephanie, the owner, was a superb host. From upgrading us to a larger room, providing a delicious breakfast, telling of the history of the house, giving restaurant recommendations that were spot on, to offering to make us a breakfast to go as we were leaving very early on our last day. Stephanie could not have done better. Thank you so much - a great bucket list trip for my son, grandson and me.
