I absolutely loved my stay here! The room was beautiful-comfortable,spotless, and thoughtfully designed. The location couldn't be better; it's so convenient to walk to all the restaurants and shopping nearby. The staff are truly amazing - friendly, welcoming,and always ready to help with anything you need. The breakfast was incredible, with delicious options that made every morning a treat. What really stood out, though, was the warm and inviting atmosphere- you feel like you're in someone's lovely home rather than a hotel. I can't wait to come back!

Friendly Staff, Beautiful Hotel

Beautiful hotel, the check in was easy, there was a front desk which was staffed all day. Also had a good size elevator. The room was spacious, the bathroom and shower were spacious. We had a nice balcony. We had a fridge and kettle in the room, with tea and coffee. Breakfast was served 7:30-10:30 and had a good assortment of delicious homemade food! It was pretty close to the town square, about a 10 minute (easy) walk. The only downside is that the hotel is on a busy street corner and the sound of scooters racing by was very noisy (only with the windows open). Overall great hotel. It was only a 10 minute walk to the train station.

We stayed at Maison Kalea for 5 nights during our honeymoon, and we were very disappointed with the experience, especially given its high rating. The most shocking issue was the complete lack of internet for our entire stay, which was a major inconvenience and unacceptable for a highly rated hotel. The room had several problems: the shower shelf was broken, making it difficult to use, the bed was uncomfortable, impacting our sleep quality, and the hotel provided paper cups instead of glassware, which felt cheap. We requested extra soap and shampoo, but our requests were ignored. There was no pool, and the outdoor seating consisted of uncomfortable chairs. We asked for umbrellas for the sunbeds, but staff told us none were available, despite there being plenty at the tables nearby. The jacuzzi was advertised but was not working. The breakfast was acceptable but lacked variety, with very few fruit options available. While the staff was generally friendly, the cleaning lady was extremely loud on our last day, shouting while cleaning as we were checking out and waiting for our transfer in the lobby, which was disruptive and unprofessional. Given these issues, we were surprised by Maison Kalea’s high rating. Given these issues, we feel we paid far too much for such a subpar experience. The property did not meet our expectations for a honeymoon stay, and we would not recommend it

We really enjoyed our stay at Maison Kalea. It is perfectly located – away from the noisy, busy centre, yet still within easy reach. There are several good restaurants, pizzerias, and mini-supermarkets nearby, and on the way to the city centre there’s a traditional Italian patisserie-gelateria called Monica, which is an absolute must-visit. The premises are spacious and thoughtfully designed, providing a very comfortable atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of variety each day. You can choose to enjoy it in the lovely dining room or out on the bright and spacious terrace. A wonderful place to stay – highly recommended. Travel tip: When visiting Sorrento, it may be more convenient to book an airport transfer from Naples Airport rather than renting a car or relying on public transport, especially if you have luggage to carry. Parking fees are high everywhere, and the twisty coastal roads can be tiring to navigate.

We stayed in a junior room with a double and twin bed. The room and bathroom were spacious and beautiful. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and towels were like new! We had a really huge private terrace that was probably 300sq ft!!!! That extra space was perfect to just be outside! Breakfast by Maria was amazing! She makes everything herself! The ladies at reception were very very helpful and nice. Location was just a short walk to everything needed. We absolutely loved our stay here and highly recommend!

Nice solid hotel. Bit of a walk from the city center and the train station but that’s no secret. Given the price range, it was good value. Nice, clean bathroom and room, good breakfast (thanks Maria!) and helpful and available staff. Do not that there is a fee for late check in but they do allow it.
