This hotel had beautiful views of Sorrento and Mount Vesuvius. The room itself was not too special. The bed was very stiff and uncomfortable. The location was nice because it was a bit quieter but you were still able to walk into the Sorrento center where the restaurants were. The breakfast was good and had many options. The pool area was quaint with pretty views. The pool chairs were a bit uncomfortable.

Hotel Il Miramare is first and foremost staffed with professional individuals who are wonderfully pleasant and friendly. They make all the difference in your experience! In addition to the great staff, my room was an understated boutique level accommodation that kept me comfortable and well rested. I woke up energized to visit the sights of Sorrento and always looked forward to getting back to the hotel to comfortably unwind. This will definitely be my default hotel in Sorrento! Grazie mille, il Miramare!

We loved the hotel. It was clean, nicely decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. The best part was the gorgeous view from the deck off our room. The only negative was the cost of taking a taxi from the hotel down to the town center, train station and/or ferry.
